About the role
XPS Staffing is currently seeking dependable and hardworking General Labor associates for a warehouse position in Charlotte, NC 20216. In this role, you will support daily warehouse operations by handling products and materials, preparing orders, packing merchandise, maintaining organized work areas, and assisting team members as needed. This is a physically active position that may require standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-conscious, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Load, unload, move, and organize products or materials.
Pack, label, sort, and prepare items as directed.
Assist with order preparation and general warehouse operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow workplace procedures and supervisor instructions.
Use appropriate safety practices while handling materials.
Report damaged products, unsafe conditions, or operational issues.
Work cooperatively with supervisors and other warehouse associates.
Complete repetitive physical tasks throughout the scheduled shift.
Requirements
Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to lift and move materials safely; lifting requirements may vary.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
Must meet all employer hiring and work-authorization requirements.
