About the role
XPS Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Inspector for a warehouse opportunity in Fontana, California. The Receiving Inspector will help process incoming merchandise by verifying quantities, inspecting products and packaging, and identifying visible damage or discrepancies. This role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to follow receiving procedures carefully. A required assessment will take place on Tuesday, September 8 at 9:00 AM. Work begins after the candidate successfully passes the assessment.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming merchandise and shipments.
Count products and verify received quantities.
Inspect merchandise and packaging for visible damage.
Compare received products with available shipment information.
Identify and report shortages, overages, or incorrect items.
Use scanners, forms, or other provided tools to document merchandise.
Organize inspected products for the next warehouse process.
Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
Follow warehouse receiving and safety procedures.
Requirements
Ability to attend the assessment on Tuesday, September 8 at 9:00 AM.
Strong counting and basic verification skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
